# Our blue lady "Blue Ocean"

Hi at all,

i want to show you a photo of our blue lady. We are going to mate her with a golden bay to see what her genotype really is. Some say that she´s aadgdg and others were thinking of the d-gen that came to her. We´ll see in future ;-)

If she was a true blue (aadd), there would be blue agoutis as well (dd). She doesn't look blue on my screen, although she does have a pretty colour. The americans call aadgdg "dingy black" which I think isn't a very good name, I prefer to call it slate. It's one of the dg varieties I'm aiming for.

What colours are her parents?

I'm also curious what a golden bay is...?

Her parents are unknown cause she came from a farm...
